Greg is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedics (OCS), Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) certified through Owens Recovery Science, and a Tennis Serve Specialist through the Kovacs Institute. He is also a member of the National Strength & Conditioning Association and the Orthopedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association. He attended University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) for his undergraduate degree, a BS in physiology. While at UCLA, he played tennis competitively on the university’s club tennis team.
Following UCLA, Greg attended University of Southern California (USC) to earn his DPT. At USC he assisted with research at the Human Performance Lab (HPL), analyzing movement deviations after ACL reconstruction. He also assisted with musculoskeletal durability examinations for elite tennis players at Arizona State University during his clinical rotations.
He then completed USC’s residency, specializing in orthopedic physical therapy. During his residency, Greg shadowed and collaborated with orthopedic surgeons at the Cedar-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Santa Monica Health Center (previously Santa Monica Orthopedic Group, or SMOG). He also volunteered at Culver City High School as an on-field physical therapist for the varsity football team, as well as assisting Association of Volleyball Professionals’ beach volleyball sideline medical coverage.
Greg was born and raised in Los Angeles, playing tennis and basketball and doing gymnastics. He enjoys playing tennis and lifting weights in his free time, as well as spending time outdoors.
